Creativity and Critical Thinking Through Collaboration

Whiteboards are are perfect for "green" guided practice and recording new strategies we are learning. They allow my students the ability to record, share, and discuss their thinking. Unfortunately, regular sized dry erase boards are far too small for some concepts, or ideas, and limit my students' creativity. Dry erase tables, however, are a perfect place for groups to join for collaboration and record all their evidence to share with their team members - all without using consumable paper products.

With the ability to share their creative reasoning with their peers on a larger scale, students can gain critical thinking skills. Developing collaboration and communication skills are a vital part of a 21st-century classroom. The best part is that we will be able to accomplish this in an environmentally friendly way.
