Urban farm for preschoolers

April 12, 2019

This project aims to restore a small parcel of eroded lands and that currently produce problems of poor air quality to which the students are exposed, turning them into urban farms. The activity will be carried out in two stages, the first will be a short talk on sustainability and why it is important, aimed at students and their parents. As a second stage we will proceed to create the urban farm.

The project is aimed for students to have contact with nature in highly developed urban areas, learning about the importance of caring for the environment, healthy eating and being able to be ambassadors of sustainable culture with their community.
It is an activity that will be carried out in tune with the community of ASHRAE Monterrey Chapter and its event "ASHRAE Global Giveback" (event also focused on sustainability).
