Cooking through curriculum!
Cooking through curriculum!
Students will learn how to cook what they grow in the garden. They will infuse all subjects to bring their learning and understanding full circle. By the students learning how to cook what they grow they will live a healthier lifestyle and have healthier eating habits. Kids are more likely to try new foods that they grow. By growing their own food they will lower the environmental footprint they are making on the planet and raising their sustainability level.

These materials will allow students to transform what they grow in their gardens to what we place on our tables to eat. It is important for them to bridge the gap of healthy eating and sustainable living.
Experiencing curriculum through your taste buds allows students to take their understanding to a whole new level.
Allowing children to see how all things in life connect allows them to take ownership over their learning and knowledge. By demonstrating this through something so tangible brings everything full circle. Teaching a student how to plant and garden can keep a family healthy for generations.
